The changing of music

         Music is like the heart it beats in us it moves us compelling us to do many things. It is an important part of our culture. But as time goes on the music we listen to has changed in many people's  opinions it is no longer worth our time. The classic arts are claimed to be dead. There is a saying "being a starving artist" and this is becoming more and more true with all the illegal ways to obtain music. The artist work hard to produce music and to sell it. If the stealing of their music does not stop it will become increasingly difficult to compose music. Stop the stealing let music thrive and be restored to its former glory.

Speaking up for yourself

Cairo Egypt: Protests break out the people are wanting change and are willing to put their own safety at risk. In that country people don’t have the same rights we have and they are oppressed and are left in poverty. This has upset the people of Egypt causing them to seek a more democratic system. We in America have the right to protest and to speak up against that which we believe to be wrong, not in Egypt the government blocked communication between people to try to stop them from gathering together and go against the government. The Egyptians are upset and frustrated with the way things have been run for so long elections, to replace the old government.

Jordan: The country of Jordan is mostly desert with little water so cities are concentrated near these water sources. They too like the Egyptians are unhappy with the government. Their Monarchy has been removed and they seek things to be run another way, more freedoms.

It is for freedom that so many people fight for, we look at our freedoms and often forget about them what they mean. Speaking out is something that can not be done everywhere in many places you can be arrested and imprisoned. If you see something that you believe to be wrong than you can speak against it, if a family member is sent to war one you believe we have no reason to be fighting if it is a political war, speak up and speak against. The right is yours keep your loved ones alive and well change what you can. Use the freedoms others don’t have.

Men have and always will yearn for freedom the freedom the liberty for a happy life.

I believe that people should not only have the right to speak out against what they don’t agree to but they should speak up against it that way things can be changed so many people sit on the sideline waiting for something to happen for somebody to do something but they will not do it themselves if everyone did that same thing and all just stood there waiting for change, there would be none. It will not change as the seasons must, we can have no control when the leaves turn color nor when the first spring rain falls these things will happen. Try to think of what you could change and what you would like to change, what do you disagree with and are willing to challenge the ruling on the current field. Like in football a referee may make a call you do not agree with the spot of the ball if the ball was caught or if the player went out of bounds. There are many things that may happen that people don’t agree with speak up you have the right use it to your advantage fix what you believe to be wrong fight for what you believe is right. These are the reasons why I think that if you don't agree with something speak out against it in a peaceful way to avoid possible conflict.

Anti war movements and protests

As Americans we have certain freedoms that can not be taken away from us no matter what, but at times people and the government like to bend the rules a bit. The death penalty is one of such examples because of every man is allowed life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, being killed strips you of two of those rights life and the pursuit of happiness you are not going to be happy being put to death no matter how it is gone about. We need to hold to these freedoms and these rights. Freedom of speech this is the freedom I will focus on. Going to war is a difficult thing to do, for the soldiers and those on the home front those who wait for their sons their husbands wives daughters to come home. The manner of their return is how the families will react. Coming home after a tour of duty after being shot at but missed, surviving the enemies onslaught, or a folded flag and a wooden case their love ones go. The manner of their return the state of their return is which can change a happy and joyful family into a weeping crowd. We are free to speak out against wars and conflict in which we wish to keep our loved ones out of. Vietnam was one of the greatest protested wars in the history of the United States of America. Keep our boys keep our loved ones out of a war we do not believe in, a war that has no goal to reach and no advantage to our people. This is why we need to hold on tight to this freedom.
